Dynamics on aerial straps:
Aerial straps are the baseline for all other aerial apparatuses. This workshop is dedicated for all aerialists who want to learn or improve their swings and dynamics skills to add into sequences. We will cover the basic swings such as front back; side side; (high) plank beats. After which we will work towards turns and pirouettes. The exact workshop content will be adapted to the level and wishes of the students and can also include dislocs, inlocs and saltos for more advanced participants.
About Ella:
Ella started aerial arts, especially silks at the age of 15. In lack of a teacher she taught herself, traveling to every workshop she could. Already before graduating from highschool she started teaching classes and workshops. After her graduation, she got directly accepted to the dutch circus highschool ACAPA where she specialized in aerial rope. Then she switched school (Flic scuola di circo) as well as speciality and started with her now main discipline aerial straps, whilst continuing to teach rope and silks classes at the royal society of gymnastics of Turin and workshops across studios in northern Italy and Germany.
She’s a recent graduate of Belgium’s national circus school ésac from which she graduated recieving special mentions in June 2025.
Whilst she enjoys creating and performing, her main passion remains sharing the knowledge she aquired throughout the years with her students across countries and languages. Putting special focus to respecting the capacities of each individual and working with their strenghths to help them achive their long term goals.
